• Vertical Separator: This type of natural gas separator is designed mainly for intermediate oil-gas ratios.  As the horizontal dimensions are smaller in this type, the motion handling is way better because there is very less area/space available for the bubbles to escape. In this type, the gas capacity is unaffected regardless of the change in liquid level. Solids are rather efficiently removed from the bottom of a vertical separator.
